I think SQUASH will be my choice of CCA already.

I simply love squash, and it's hard to express it in words.
I suppose people who really like something feels the same way too?

I enjoyed today's training. Though things thought were very basic, it's definitely challenging.
And when you see the number of times hitting the squash ball increases, it's really exciting.
Just like as if you've improve test by test.

However, tough times do occur, no matter what you do.
Squash, like what i mentioned earlier, it's challenging, also, it requires alot of strength.
Arms, legs, even speed are considered.
I wouldn't say that i've got all those,
but i suppose it's enough (though it's been way long since i last exercised, =P)
And my right arm is shouting now,
it'll be normal after some trainings,
or it'll be gone by subsequent ones.
And squash definitely isn't a cheap sport to play.
Unless you're very committed, if not don't join.
For my school wise, $20 for a month for training fees. Still have racquet?
Yeah, expensive sport.

SQUASH!

Finally they contacted me!

Recieved a message last night stating about squash training on Thursday at squash court.
AR!! So eager about tomorrow, =P

As for ultimate frisbee, I enjoyed yesterday's training. Played barefooted! Well, of course the feet got very wet and soggy (did i spell correctly..?). BUT, i didn't had food before going for the training, thus, my tummy was rumblimg when I was training!

it's raining, at last?
so much cooler..

Yesterday night received a call and she said "hi, i'm calling from Ultimate Frisbee Club to tell you that there's training this tuesday, 5.30pm at hockey pitch. Please come in sports attire."
I'M IN FRISBEE!
But, but, what about squash?
If the squash people call i'll see the timing for the training, then i'll try out one training, same goes for frisbee, then make my choice again?
Confuse.. part of me wants to join squash, part of me wants to join ultimate.. COMMENTS PLEASE!

Finally finish the 3 tutorials, and still, microecons is still freaking me. Current favourite for now is Accounting for assets. Who knows? It might get tougher each lecture..

Here comes the WEEKENDS!

ONE WEEK HAD PASSED! I so love weekends!

First week of school, and i predict that my backbone will break any minute in school. ALL THE BOOKS ARE SO HEAVY?! Microecons textbook, gosh, thicker and bigger than a.math book, much much heavier too! In this first week my back's been aching.. Not only are they heavy, THEY COST BOMBS.

And i'm already stress on the first week?!
Microeconomics, ARGH! Only first lesson today and i'm freaked out by it.
now i know why zhen kang keep insisting that econs' tough, i surrender in debating with you ar! we're definitely on the same boat right now..

ICA1 seems so scary, mainly it's because most of it falls on my birthday week! If not the week after. DAMN, how to enjoy 17!!!!!!

Who says poly's life is easy to live with, IT'S TOUGH people, it definitely is..

Club Crawl (CCA Exhibition)

Club Crawl at NYP's Sports Hall on 22nd and 23rd April.

Went to take a look at the exhibition by all the CCAs with my new-found girlfriend (haha! which means good friends la..) Rahimah. For these 2 days, I signed for 3 CCAs?? Student Union, Squash and Ultimate Frisbee. Hope to get into either squash or ultimate frisbee.. As for tennis and bowling..? Well, tennis need $$ to learn, still don't know the fees yet, but well, squash is a similar sport, also need not stand under the sun (wahaha!), so signed up for squash. For frisbee, i think i got psycho-ed by zhen kang, keep saying frisbee fun (well,there's tan tan guys there who's quite hunky too, =P).

Wanna ask me the CCA with most hunks?
DRAGONBOAT!
I think alot of girls drooled when they see the guys there, haha!
But, hmm, too tanned, =P [so petty of me..]

And as for academic wise, still alright up till today. But already had assignments.. Assignment i hate the most :Self intro thingy.. BECAUSE OF THE EXPECTAION!! ask us write one aspect of my life, eg. Grandparents, how they influence our life, your unique hobby, etc, etc. Weird eh..? it's effective com, such weird topic to talk about. Still thinking of what to write.. ARGH!!

Today's definitely much better than yesterday.

Because I didn't stay in school till 6+? haha!

Lessons had: Accounting for Assets (AFA) and Internet and Web Technologies.
Quite interesting, still manage to understand AFA for now.

Internet and Web Technologies?
Hmm, had the crossword puzzle game, BUT only manage to answer some of the questions (but out of 49 questions!!), got to really buck up because it's the first lesson and i'm already in this state, NO NO NO..

First Day of School...

And it sucks.


Because lessons supposed to end at 4pm, so that means by 5 i'll be able to reach home. Guess what time i reached home? 7PM. Simply because of the software download. Made me wait from 4pm till 5.50pm then it's my turn. But, after waited for so long it only took me 20mins to get the necessary things installed. ??!!!
Also the books, SO SUPER HEAVY! 3 lecture notes, binded, 1 very thick textbook and 1 tutorial question book. Plus the laptop when i go home? OH-MY-GOSH!

Had brief introduction on modules we had today, Statistics Methods For Business, Microeconomics and Principles of Management.


Tomorrow's lesson: Accounting for Assets and Internet Web thingy.. But still, till 4pm.
Should i say i'm lucky or not? all my lessons latest ends at 4pm while most of my friends ends at 5 or 6pm. Well, i'm sure lucky..(?)

I LOVE WEDNESDAYS because lesson starts 8 and ends at 12.55pm, WAHAHA!

50th NPAP 2009

Went to NPAP at HTA yesterday.

After photo taking met Mdm. Ng outside of Harmony Hall. Chit-chatted for awhile then proceeded to canteen to eat, poor Gen Liang had no vegetarian food, only ate pudding. Rushed for the last bus but ended up early.

Reached Lot 1, Gen Liang together with Jun Chao and Yan Xiang went to have dinner while others went to walk around. Sad thing, there weren't any vegetarian food stall, and he ate Mos Burger (potato one la..). Yan Xiang got super cheeky last night by cracking alot of lame jokes, and his face went very red! Zhen Kang had corn soup, while others waited. Actually everyone supposedly waiting for Kee Yong and Zhi Xiang, well, it was pretty late already, so Gen Liang, Zhen Kang, Xiaoying and I returned home first.

Shagged when I reach home, can't even keep my eyes open to finish watching "Sixth Sense", slept at pass 12, then woke up at 11 today.

Tomorrow's first day of school!

Some part of me feel excited about it, while most part of me don't feel like going to school. Gosh, how would poly life be for me?

orientation at NYP(2) and POP

YESTERDAY'S FUN!!

very fun.

and i'm tanned.

totally red for my whole arms, neck, and legs.


morning had the cheer and shouting thingy again, then proceed to games!


First stop: Pass the plate. We had to pass the plate from back to back. It seems impossible, but it's easy to play actually.. The venue was still shady at that time.


Second stop: Captain's "Cabbage", because we played with cabbage. I can't remember if we won, but both BM0913 and BM0914(my class) had alot of fun.

Third Stop: Passing the number of squeezes using hands. This is quite a common game, but it was being improvised. And the forfeit is the losing team will have to drawn using the items that we're suppose to collect. Meaning, if we receive 2 squeezes we're suppose to take item 2, and if item 2 is a tube of toothpaste then the winning team for that round will draw on the losing team using the toothpaste. But our team is way too kind, (for the last round we sent a representative from our classes to compete, losing team will need to have all their faces drawn) we got toothpaste and lipstick, but only drew a stroke each on the cheeks. Kind eh? The whole team has got the same design on their faces, =P

Had toilet breaks, went with other 5 girls, and ended up got splashed by
OGLs with pails of water. Luckily only part of my shorts was wet..

Fourth Stop: Sedan Web. (finally in air-conditioned sports hall!) We have to use the given rafia strings to tie knots to form a sedan and lift someone to a certain distance without falling. Well, of course we manage to make one and lift the lightest girl, Cheryl.

Fifth Stop: Erm, I don't the name, but we had to pass the enormous big ball around without toching the ground, somehow is like volleying in volleyball, but with a big ball. Under the sun again..

Then we had lunch!!
Supposedly everyone agreed to go McDonald's, but, it's freaking hot, so we went to Koufu (air-conditioned) to have our meal instead. Then during lunch it's so funny! Aswin started cracking jokes like his secondary school is Kachang Putih (his school's initial is KCP), he wanted to leave because he's going to the mosque for Friday prayers (when the Muslim boys had went and returned..), he's fasting so not eating lunch, meditating will do, but went to buy Ribena claiming " Fasting will fast break also mah..", like what the hack isn't it? Super hilarious. Then Lawrence had mixed veg rice, then ask if there's still time, and went to buy another bowl of mee rebus, and drank a can of green tea and a cup of Ribena. Big appetitite he has!

After lunch we had a little break before our next game, wet activity, but sadly, I had to leave..
I MISSED THE MOST FUN PART!! hais, sad sad..

Went back to WRS for POP, but couldn't enter because of attire (i was wearing half cut shorts with sandals, actually can enter, but, aiya, just go over to ying's house to change to proper attire. Pants and covered shoes. Guess who's that tedious person who gave this instruction, yeah, you'll for sure guess it right.. Took taxi to-and-fro to rush in time for the performance. Missed the parade though.. Had all those videos as usual, down the memory lane, looking at those pictures, how much had the sec4s grown! From mischievous cadets, to understanding NCOs, grew both physically and mentally (who doesn't..?). Congrats to all sec4s! And all the best for exams! Oh, thanks for the Ferero Rocher and kit-kat too!

Going NPAP later! Look at once-my-cadets wearing First Class Uniform, proud of them! =)

Orientation @ NYP

Today's the first day of Freshmen's Orientation 2009 at NYP, bless my soul for being still alive after such long hours!



Same old routine for Freshies: Register in the morning, report according to coures then classes, do alot of cheers and shoutings, wait for lengthy speeches, do cheerings and shoutings again, touring, play teambuilding games, know each other, talks and more talks, laughing, and drop dead by the end of the day.



Well, but throughout today only one phrase to describe: BORING, YET FUN.



Why?

Because all the talks are super boring, and all the people are not as enthu, so shouting and screaming seems useless.

Most of my classmates are nice people (appreciate alot), some I hadn't got the chance because they either didn't turn up or left half way.

Classmates' names I get to remember: GD(cool name eh? he's the Class Rep of BP[class]), Regina (class rep too), [names not in alphabetical order, and sorry if I spelled name wrongly], Yue Wei, Fu Zhi, Rahimah, Hafizah, Michelle, Jayden, Jacob, Dickson, Nathan, Cheryl, Sherlene, Elena, Elizabeth, Jasreel, Shu Wen, Wendy, Aswin, Lawrence and Jia jia. Other classmates whom I hadn't met isn't included.



And the food's horrible,love the food that we had when we were at HTA, yummy yummy lunchboxes.. Here, hais..



Oh, and there's alot of them from Orchestra, while 4 including myself are from NPCC. [Lawrence, Hafizah, Yue Wei]..



Played Table soccer human version, Bingo, Charades, Egg game [scissors, paper, stone] and shuffle shoes. Table soccer's the best! Love the game.. Tomorrow's having water activities, hope it's fun, =)
